The Flower Dripper is a prime example of function meeting beauty. We start with the classic cone shaped brew method (popularized in North America by Hario’s V60) known for the way it allows coffee to circulate as it brews, resulting in consistent filtration and clean extraction. To this, Cafec has added vertical flower ribs (the petal-like interior ridges) which create air flow and space between the paper filter and cone walls. This space allows for coffee grinds to expand fully as they brew, while increased air flow allows for a similar brew time as a V60 but with a finer grind - I.E. better extraction, better flavour.
